Symonds reunites with girlfriend

SYDNEY - Controversial Australian all-rounder Andrew Symonds is back with girlfriend Katie Johnson with whom he split last month, according to media reports here Monday.
The break-up was a big blow to Symonds who has undergone counselling since he was sent home from Darwin in August for fishing when he should have been in a team meeting.
The list of the wayward all-rounder’s misdemeanors is long. In November, he jabbed a fan in a Brisbane pub, but was cleared of any wrongdoing by Cricket Australia (CA).
He later insisted he would not stop drinking or socialising in public, but needed to make ‘better decisions’.
He, however, soon found himself in yet another soup when he made a detrimental comment on New Zealand star Brendon McCullum in a radio interview and was slapped a $4,000 fine by CA.
Katie Johnson was a source of strength when Symonds was dropped from the Australian team, who is in his second period of counselling and rehabilitation.
