Suspected car bomb explodes in Spanish city
MADRID — The Interior Ministry says a suspected car bomb has exploded near a Civil Guard barracks in the northern city of Burgos.
Authorities did not have any immediate details available on injuries or damage. The newspaper El Mundo says on its Web site that several people were slightly injured early Wednesday from what appeared to be flying glass.
Burgos was once the capital of Spain and contains a historic city center with important tourist attractions.
