Surya Grahan 2009 at a glance

The Surya Grahan or total solar eclipse in India shall be visible in different parts of the country. It shall be seen in some regions in Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal, Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh.
It is claimed that the Surya Grahan on 22 July 2009 is going to be the longest total solar eclipse of the century.
Some places of India will get the opportunity to observe the total Surya Grahan early in the morning from 05:30 AM to 07:30, they are namely Patna, Bhopal, Indore, Gaya, Varanasi, Bhavnagar, Darjeeling, Gangtok, Sibsagar, Surat, Ujjain and Vadodara.
The total eclipse begins from Western part of India near Surat, and In addition the above places of India the total solar eclipse will also be visible from Bankipore, Bharuch, Chhapra, Chhatarpur, Cooch Bihar, Daltoganj, Daman, Darbhanga, Dibrugarh, Gangtok, Itanagar, Itarsi, Jabalpur, Katihar, Khandwa, Maihar, Mirzapur, Muzaffarpur, Panchmarhi, Purnia, Rewa, Sagar, Siliguri, Silvassa and Vidisha, central of China, southern Japan and towards Pacific ocean.
Religious views:
As there will be a triple eclipses, two of them are lunar and one solar, there is always a chance of war, political instability.
The first recorded triple eclipse was in 3067 BC - the 18-day period of great war Mahabharata.
Next the triple eclipse was observed from 1910 to 1945 when World War I, World War II, and even nuclear bombing took place. Even in Bible triple eclipses links destruction.
