Train derails in southern China, killing 4
BEIJING — A landslide caused a train to derail in southern China on Wednesday, killing at least four people and injuring 50, state media said.
The official Xinhua News Agency said the train derailed in the pre-dawn hours in Liuzhou city in the Guangxi region.
It was headed to Guangdong province from central China’s Xiangfan city, Xinhua said, citing railway authorities. No futher details were immediately available.
