Squall likely in Delhi

NEW DELHI - If the heat and humidity is making you fume, have heart. A dust storm sometime in the latter half of Thursday is likely to bring some rain and even a squall to the capital.
“For most part of the day it will be a partly cloudy sky. But by the afternoon or evening, there is likely to be a dust storm and thunder storm which will bring down the temperature,” an official of the Safdarjung met office said.
“Some places may also receive hail storm or thunder squall,” the official added.
The minimum temperature recorded early Thursday was a notch above the average, at 28.8 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 41 degrees Celsius.
The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was recorded at 56 percent.
