Southern Co. names Henry A. Clark III to board

ATLANTA — Utility company Southern Co. said Monday Henry A. Clark III was elected to its board.

Clark, 60, is a senior adviser with Lexicon Partners, an independent corporate finance advisory firm.

Southern’s shares rose 73 cents, or 2.2 percent, to $33.23 in afternoon trading.
