Six killed in Jharkhand accident

RANCHI - Six people were killed and 20 injured when the bus they were travelling in skidded off the road and fell into a ditch in Gumla district of Jharkhand Thursday afternoon, police said.

According to police, the bus had nearly 40 passengers when it went off the road while passing over a culvert at Baghima village, around 145 km here.

The injured have been admitted to a hospital in Gumla. The condition of three of the injured is serious, a police official said.
