Simi takes lead at DLF golf

GURGAON - Shalini Malik dropped out of the lead as experienced Simi Mehra took over at the end of the second round of the eighth leg of the DLF Women’s Indian Tour event.
Simi, who had a 79 in first round, shot 75 as Shalini followed her 77 in first round with 84 in the second. Simi led the field at 154, seven shots clear of Shalini who is in second place.
Vandana Aggarwal is third at 164 with rounds of 81 and 83.
The final round will commence Friday at 9 am.
