Shane Watson fit to play as batsman

SYDNEY - Australian all-rounder Shane Watson will make his comeback from injury for Queensland in their Sheffield Shield clash with New South Wales that begins at the Gabba from Thursday.
Injury-plagued Watson, 27, was suffering from a back stress fracture and will play only as a batsman.
Watson being fit is definitely welcome news for Indian Premier League (IPL) champions Rajasthan Royals as the all-rounder played a pivotal role in the team’s success in its first edition. The second edition of IPL begins April 10.
