Seven-year-old girl crushed to death by truck in Delhi

NEW DELHI - A seven-year-old girl was crushed to death under the wheels of a speeding truck here, police said Sunday.

Isran was returning home with her brother on a bicycle Saturday night when the truck hit them in Mangolpuri area in outer Delhi, a police officer said.

Both were rushed to a hospital where Isran was declared dead while her brother is undergoing treatment, the police officer said.

The truck driver has been arrested, the police officer added.
