Seven injured in Kashmir blast

SRINAGAR - Six civilians and a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) trooper were injured in a grenade attack by militants Friday in Magam town of Jammu and Kashmir, police said.

Police said that separatist guerrillas hurled a grenade at a parked CRPF vehicle in the Magam Chowk, 33 km from here.

“Five women, a man and a CRPF jawan were injured in the explosion. The injured were taken to hospital for treatment,” said the officer.

The explosion triggered panic in Magam town on the Srinagar-Gulmarg highway.
