NEW DELHI - Union Minister of State for Urban Development and Poverty Alleviation Kumari Selja has a comparatively lighter weight of opponents to beat to re-claim the Ambala (reserved) Lok Sabha seat in Haryana.

There are just six candidates against her - the lowest for any of the state’s 10 Lok Sabha seats.

Of the seven contestants, including herself, two are independents. She is the lone woman in the fray for this seat. Haryana has one of the worst sex ratios in the country.
