SAIC wins federal contract

SAN DIEGO — Science Applications International Corp. on Tuesday said it has won a contract to provide operations and maintenance support for the Federal Emergency Management Agency and Department of Homeland Security.

The contract, which has several options, is worth as much as $500 million.

Under the contract, SAIC will provide service and support of FEMA’s information technology systems.

Shares of SAIC fell 29 cents to close at $18.20 Tuesday.
