RealNetworks anticipates second quarter sales below Wall Street’s prediction

RealNetworks issues outlook on 2nd quarter sales
SEATTLE — Digital entertainment company RealNetworks Inc. said Wednesday it expects to report second quarter sales between $134 million and $136 million.
Analysts surveyed by Thomson Reuters are looking for revenue of $139.2 million.
The company says it also expects to report a non-cash charge of up to $176 million related to an impairment.
It also ended the quarter with $363 million in cash, which is $10 million less than the previous quarter’s balance due to working capital charges.
RealNetworks will report its second-quarter earnings after the market closes on July 30.
Shares of RealNetworks fell 3 cents to close at $2.87.
