Product Recalls: framing nailers

The following recall has been announced:

About 9,000 Dewalt D51825 and D51850 framing nailers, made in Mexico and distributed by Dewalt Industrial Tool Co. of Towson, Md., because the product’s bump action trigger could have been incorrectly assembled. This would allow the nailer to eject a fastener unexpectedly or prevent the trigger lock-off from working. No injuries or incidents have been reported. The recalled framing nailers were sold at wholesale distributors and retailers nationwide from January through September 2008. Details: by phone at 877-437-7181; by Web at www.cpcs.gov.
