Recalls: City Baking brand Apple Crumb Cakes

The following recall has been announced:

City Baking LLC is recalling 781 individually wrapped City Baking brand Apple Crumb Cakes because they contain walnuts undeclared on the product’s label. Those who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to walnuts run the risk of a serious or life-threatening illness if they eat the products. No illnesses have been reported to date, according to the New York company.

The recalled products were distributed to New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Maryland, Virginia, Massachusetts and Maine. The products can be identified by a bag code, either the number 161 or 169, and the UPC 854142000165. For more information, consumers can call 718-392-8514.
