LONDON - Prince William has shared his grief for his late mother Diana, princess of Wales, with other bereaved kids at a charity event here.
Twelve years after the princess was killed Aug 31, 1997 in a car crash in the Pont de l’Alma road tunnel in Paris, the heir spoke out about his loss at the child bereavement charity event, reported contactmusic.com
‘Never being able to say the word ‘Mummy’ again in your life sounds like a small thing. However, for many, including me, it is now really just a word - hollow and evoking only memories,’ said William, who was just 15 at that time.
‘Losing a close family member is one of the hardest experiences anyone can endure,’ he added.
