BHOPAL - A police constable Tuesday shot himself with the Service revolver of his father at his residence in Madhya Pradesh, a police officer said.

Arvind Tiwari, son of Madhya Pradesh police sub-inspector Angad Tiwari, came to his Jabalpur residence two days ago. He was posted as a constable in Bhopal and was on leave.

‘Today (Tuesday) morning he (Arvind Tiwari) shot himself with the Service revolver of his father and left behind a suicide note,’ Gohalpur police station chief Devesh Pathak told IANS.

He said the suicide note read: ‘I am myself responsible for my death. Others in the family should not be blamed or harassed for this act of mine’.
