Police: 7 dead in NY parkway crash
BRIARCLIFF, N.Y. — New York state police say seven people have died in a three-car crash on a parkway in suburban New York City.
The crash occurred Sunday afternoon in Briarcliff.
The Journal News reports on its Web site at least seven people including three children were dead.
State police tell the Journal News a minivan was heading the wrong way in the northbound lanes when it crashed head-on into an SUV. A third vehicle also was involved.
