PM to visit Amritsar Monday

NEW DELHI - Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will visit Amritsar later Monday and pray at the Golden Temple.
‘Singh is expected to go Monday evening and it will be a private trip,’ an official at the Prime Minister’s Office said.
This will be Singh’s first trip outside Delhi after he underwent coronary bypass surgery Jan 24. He has been active in the last two weeks and has met visiting dignitaries besides attending to office work.
The prime minister is scheduled to attend the G20 summit in London early next month.
