Pepsi Bottling Group to distribute drink in Mexico

SOMERS, N.Y. — Pepsi bottling company The Pepsi Bottling Group Inc. on Wednesday said it will distribute the Rockstar Energy Drink Inc.’s Rockstar drink in Mexico, expanding its distribution agreement for the beverage.

PepsiCo Inc. already distributes Rockstar in the U.S. in Canada. It will begin distributing the drink in Mexico in July.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

Rockstar, based in Las Vegas, sells energy drinks in 10 flavors including pomegranate and roasted latte as well as sugar free and zero carb versions.

Pepsi Bottling Group shares ended the day down 11 cents at $32.76.
