People trapped in parliament lift

NEW DELHI - An unspecified number of people got trapped Wednesday in a lift in the parliament house after it got stalled due to a technical snag, an official said.
A parliament security official said the people in the lift were safe and efforts were on rescue them. “We have made arrangements for circulation of air,” he said.
Fire department officials said they were alerted around 3 p.m. “We have no idea how many people are trapped, one official said.
