People have risky sex as they’re too shy to buy condoms

WASHINGTON - One out of 10 men said in a recent survey they have had unprotected sex because they were too embarrassed to buy condoms from a pharmacy.
This is the finding of an online pharmacy mastersdirect.com, revealing people’s opinions about their most embarrassing health problems.
The results revealed that the high street pharmacy can be a ‘humiliation hot-spot’ for people confronting their embarrassing health issues. The most toe-curlingly embarrassing products were voted to be: condoms, incontinence pants and personal lubricants.
Besides, almost 50 percent of the population has suffered a health problem like thrush (candidiasis of the oral cavity; seen mostly in infants or debilitated adults) in silence rather than face the embarrassment of seeking medical attention.
A quarter has simply walked out of a pharmacy because they were too embarrassed to ask for a particular health product, said a release of mastersdirect.com.
Thrush creams, tampons and pregnancy tests also made people feel conspicuous. In an attempt to hide their embarrassment over their purchases, well over a third had even bought something they didn’t need as a ‘cover-up’.

Gentleman please give us girls a break we took the pill for you have the children for you, then we suddenly realise plus man make three. For heavens sake they sell them in the gentleman, do we have to do everything for you. Nurse you along like children good gracious me. When you’ve had a child you stop getting embarressed it’s them that end embarressing you. On one occasion my son only about two sitting in a pushchair facing from me, I had been into Woolworths for you know what Tampax. When I got outside a two security men & women laughing stopped me. “We thnk you might have a number of things you didn’t really want.” Thank goodness they were laughing. My darling son had helped himself to an armful of sanitary towels of varying types and had opened them up and was playing with them. That is what you call embarressment.I didn’t into Woolworths for a very very very long time after that. |

Steph. quite agree what a fuss about nothing it’s no more than an excuse to be irressponsible and stupid and shows immaturity. Goodness me women have to go and purchase sanitary towels and periods have happend since time dot. Sadly it’s often to late to wake up if they got a terrible disease and suffered the consequences misery un-told that can come from behaving like a morron. With the samples of leaders in this world it is hoped the people and children of our tomorrow don’t follow suit. Or is it to late the rot has set in? |

People poop all the time, but we aren’t embarassed about purchasing toilet paper (men especially since that is obviously why they get the stuff)! I just don’t understand the embarassment associated with buying condoms. |
