Peabody Energy raises dividend 17 percent to 7 cents per share

Peabody raises dividend to 7 cents per share

ST. LOUIS — Peabody Energy on Thursday raised its regular quarterly dividend 17 percent to 7 cents per share.

The dividend is payable on Nov. 27 to holders of record Nov. 5, the coal producer said.

Shares of the company fell 99 cents, or 2.2 percent, to $43.90.
