OPEC oil price rises to $40.91

VIENNA - The price for oil produced by the Organisation of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) continued to gain at the end of last week, rising to $40.91, the cartel announced Monday.

One barrel (159 litres) of OPEC-produced crude was up $0.60 Friday, compared with the previous day.

The Vienna-based organisation calculates an average price of 12 brands produced by its members.
