OPEC crude rises to $41.31 per barrel

VIENNA - The price for oil produced by the Organisation of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) rose to $41.31 a barrel, the Vienna-based cartel said Thursday.

One barrel (159 litres) of OPEC-produced crude Wednesday was priced $1.31 higher than Tuesday.

OPEC calculates a basket price based on 12 brands produced by its members.
