One killed in Peshawar blast

ISLAMABAD - An eight-year-old child was killed and several others injured in an explosion at a school in Pakistan’s northwestern Peshawar city Thursday, media reports said.
The incident took place in the Gulshan Rehman colony of the city in North West Frontier Province, Xinhua reported.
The blast occurred in a residential area for government employees.
