No respite from heat for Delhiites

NEW DELHI - Delhiites will have to face scorching heat till the weekend with no signs of rainfall, the meteorological department forecast Monday.

The maximum temperature recorded Monday was 41 degrees Celsius and minimum was 30.2 degrees Celsius. The humidity level was recorded at 37 percent

Weathermen said there were no signs of the mercury dipping before the end of the week.

‘The high temperature would continue for the next few days and no rain is expected. By the weekend we expect lower temperatures,’ a met official said.
