Utah officers use Tasers to subdue escaped bull
SOUTH JORDAN, Utah — Police in South Jordan had to use Tasers to tame a bull that escaped from its owner and knocked over an 80-year-old man. South Jordan police Lt. Dan Starks said a bull escaped from its owner Wednesday in the Salt Lake City suburb and that others in the area tried to help corral it. The bull knocked over an 80-year-old man who was trying to help.
Police arrived and ended up using their Tasers to subdue the animal. Eventually the owner was able to get the bull into a trailer.
The man who was toppled by the bull suffered a cut and some bleeding. He went to a hospital as a precaution.
