Nine killed in Pakistan blast

ISLAMABAD - At least nine people, including six children, were killed in a blast Saturday in the northwestern Pakistani city of Peshawar, according to a media report.

At least 16 children were among the injured in the blast near a school bus at the Kakshal residential area in Peshawar, which is the capital of the North West Frontier Province (NWFP), the Express TV reported.

Windows of buildings were shattered due to the blast.
