NATO: 2 service members killed in Afghanistan

KABUL — NATO says two of its troops have been killed in eastern Afghanistan.

NATO said a U.S. service member was killed Thursday in an attack on a patrol. Another service member was killed after coming under fire.

The military alliance did not immediately identify the second casualty’s nationality or provide other information.
