MRF National Supercross from May 24

CHENNAI - The first round of the MRF National Supercross championship for two-wheelers will be held in Goa on May 24, according to the Federation of Motor Sports Club of India (FMSCI).
The popular Supercross event was not held last year. The revived championship will consist of six rounds and include five classes.
The dates are: Round 1 - Goa (May 24); Round 2 - Hyderabad (May 31); Round 3 - Coimbatore (June 14); Round 4 - Bangalore (Nov 15); Round 5 - Pune (Nov 29); Round 6 - Jaipur (Dec 6).
The championship will be promoted by the Pune-based Sportstrek run by former National champion Shyam Kothari. The sponsors, besides MRF, include: TVS Motor Company, Bharat Petroleum, SIDVIN, Red Bull and GMR.
