More in rain in store for Delhi

NEW DELHI - If the bright start to the day has got you worried about the scorching heat returning, don’t lose heart. The weatherman promises a pleasant Tuesday with some rain likely in the evening.
‘According to our weather forecast, it will be a pleasant day and the temperatures will remain average. Also, a brief spell of rain is expected by the evening,’ an official of the Safdarjung Met office said.
The city received 4.2 mm rainfall until late Monday, bringing down the minimum temperature early Tuesday to a normal 23.6 degrees Celsius.
The maximum temperature, the met official added, will hover around 38 degrees Celsius.
Light showers in several areas of the capital Monday evening had brought relief to Delhiites from the searing heat of last week.
