MMTC net profit falls 23 percent

MUMBAI - State-run trading firm MMTC Ltd Thursday posted a net profit of Rs.41.27 crore for the quarter ended June 30 as against Rs.53.76 crore in the like period last year, registering a fall of 23.2 percent.
Total income declined to Rs.7,511.93 crore during the April-June quarter from Rs.9,782.40 crore a year ago, the company said in a regulatory statement.
