Matt Dillon arrested for speeding

LONDON - Hollywood actor Matt Dillon has been arrested and charged with speeding in the US.

Contactmusic.com reports that the 44-year-old was pulled over by the police in Newbury, Vermont, Tuesday for allegedly driving much beyond the permissible limit. It is also claimed that the ‘Crash’ actor was driving a rented car.

Dillon is due to appear in court Jan 21 after being released from custody.

His publicist refused to comment, but police spokeswoman Sergeant Tara Thomas said: ‘Vermont state police were treating Dillon like anyone else.’
