Maoist leader arrested in Bihar

PATNA - A Maoist leader was arrested after police raided at Sono bazar in Bihar’s Jamui district last evening.

Acting on a tip-off, Maoist leader Mustkeen Ansari was arrested in connection with the attack on a police party, which left five personnel dead last week.

On August 22, four Special Auxiliary Police (SAP) jawans and an Assistant Sub-Inspector of police were killed by Maoists at Sono Bazaar on August 22. (ANI)
