Man stabbed by girlfriend’s father

NEW DELHI - Jaiprakash, a resident of west Delhi, was seriously injured when he was stabbed by his girlfriend’s father, police said Thursday.

Jaiprakash had a relation with a girl in his neighbourhood in Nangloi area. He went to her house to meet her late Wednesday when the attack occurred.

When the girl’s father saw both of them together, he stabbed Jaiprakash in the neck, said a police official.

Jaiprakash, a government employee, is currently in intensive care unit in the Sanjay Gandhi Hospital.
