Man shot at in Delhi’s Dwarka area

NEW DELHI - A 40-year-old man was shot at and injured by motorcycle-borne assailants in Dwarka area of south-west Delhi Thursday morning, police said.

“Suresh Kumar was shot at by unidentified motorcycle borne assailants in Sector-10 Dwarka. The victim was riding his motorcycle when the incident took place. The assailants then fled from the spot,” a police officer said.

Kumar was injured in the shoulder and has been admitted to DD Hospital, where doctors described his condition as stable now.

The officer said Kumar himself has criminal antecedents and is involved in more than half a dozen criminal cases in Dwarka area. The police suspecting personal enmity to be behind the attack and are investigating.
