Man kills girlfriend, self in Ghaziabad

GHAZIABAD - A man shot dead his girlfriend in a park here Wednesday before turning the gun on himself, police said.
The incident occurred around 10 a.m. Wednesday in Lohia Park under Sahibabad police station in Ghaziabad.
An eyewitness told police that a man, identified as Alok Vikram and a woman, identified as Rachna, both residents of Bulandshahr, came to the park around 10 a.m. Wednesday. After walking around the park for 15 minutes, Vikram pulled out a gun and shot Rachna. As she fell to the ground he shot himself also.
The eyewitness called the guard, who informed the police.
“We have seized the bodies and registered a case,” circle officer Happy Guptan said.
