Man held in Delhi for triple murder

NEW DELHI - A 40-year-old man wanted for alleged triple murder in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, has been arrested from the national capital, police said Monday.

Badaruddin, on whose arrest the police had placed a reward of Rs.1,000, was nabbed Sunday from Delhi Gate area in central Delhi with an illegal country-made pistol and six cartridges.

The police said Badaruddin runs a meat farm at Hapur Road and had come to Delhi to get shelter and evade his arrest.
