Malay Indian woman in Karachi jail seeks help

KANGAR - A Malay Indian woman who is languishing in a jail in Karachi along with three others, has approached the Malaysian Government for help.

The woman, identified only as Rani, is a 32-year-old divorcee with four children, reports the New Strait Times.

Rani was sentenced to a jail term of three years and six months and a fine of Rs.150,000 (RM7,500) or another six months’ jail for trying to smuggle drugs into Pakistan. (ANI)
