NEW DELHI - A major fire broke out Thursday evening at a cold storage in north Delhi. However, there were no reports of any casualties, fire officials said.

The fire engulfed three floors of the building on C-34 Lawrence Road around 5.20 p.m. Raw meat is preserved in the cold storage.

At least 21 fire fighting tenders were rushed to douse the flames. But after two hours, the fire officials were still battling with the inferno.

‘No one has been found injured in the incident and men are on job to douse the flames,’ said an official of Delhi Fire Service.

The cause behind the fire was being ascertained, he said.
