Lok Sabha adjourned after MP falls sick during budget speech

NEW DELHI - Lok Sabha Speaker Somnath Chatterjee had to Monday interrupt the interim budget presentation by Minister for External Affairs Pranab Mukherjee after Janata Dal-Secular MP M.P. Veerendra Kumar fell ill.

The Lok Sabha was adjourned for 10 minutes. Veerendra Kumar slumped in his chair as the budget proposals were being presented and a doctor had to be called in.
