Large explosion shakes Afghanistan’s capital
KABUL — A large explosion has shaken the center of Afghanistan’s capital of Kabul. The blast occurred in a neighborhood that houses the U.S. and British embassies, along with military installations.
The explosion occurred about 12:10 p.m. local time and Associated Press reporters could see smoke rising from the vicinity of the explosion soon after.
Reports of casualties were not yet available.
