Kulicke & Soffa increases revenue outlook for 4Q
FORT WASHINGTON, Pa. — Computer chip equipment manufacturer Kulicke & Soffa Industries Inc. on Wednesday raised its revenue outlook for the fourth quarter ending Oct 3.
The company expects net revenue to be in the range of $100 to $105 million, an increase from the previously announced range of $85 million to $90 million.
The increase is due to a recovery in overall business conditions that began at the end of the March quarter and is continuing, CEO Scott Kulicke said in a statement.
Kulicke and the company’s interim chief financial officer, Michael Morris, were scheduled to discuss company performance with investors and analysts at a technology conference on Wednesday.
Shares climbed above the 52-week high, rising 10 cents, or 1.6 percent, to $6.39. They’ve traded between $1.11 and $6.37 in the past year.
