Kingfisher flight makes emergency landing in Mumbai

MUMBAI - A Mumbai to Bangalore Kingfisher Airlines flight had to make an emergency landing at Mumbai Airport soon after take-off after its landing gear malfunctioned on Tuesday.

Preliminary reports quoting sources said that Kingfisher Flight IT 103, which was carrying 98 passengers headed for Bangalore reported a gear malfunction soon after take off to Air Traffic Control (ATC).

An emergency was declared at the airport to facilitate the plane’s return. When reports last came in, the plane was being attended to and the passengers had been taken to the visitors’ lounge to board another flight to Bangalore. (ANI)
