TEHRAN - Mojtaba Zolnour, an aide to the Supreme Leader of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has reportedly said that if the US or Israel attacks Iran, Teheran would retaliate and “blow up the heart of Israel”.

Zolnour threatened that “Even if one American or Zionist missile hits our country, before the dust settles, Iranian missiles will blow up the heart of Israel’, The Jerusalem Post reports.

This is not the first time that Iran has made such comments. Earlier in March, Iran’s deputy Army chief, General Muhammad Reza Ashtiani, had made a similiar remark, where he had warned that Iran would eliminate Israel if it attacks the Islamic republic.

“Should Israel take any action against Iran, we will eliminate Israel from the scene of the universe,” Gen. Ashtiani said.

“Due to its special conditions, Israel is very vulnerable in the region. The aggressors will face a crushing response,” he added. (ANI)

Iran will “blow up the heart of Israel”-

Say, wouldn’t that be disproportionate?

I suppose it’s acceptable as long as Iran is doing it.
