Karunanidhi’s security stepped up

CHENNAI - Security for Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi and his cabinet colleagues has been stepped up following intelligence inputs on threat from the Tamil Tigers, a top police official said here Wednesday.

Security to Karunanidhi, his cabinet colleagues, central ministers visiting Tamil Nadu and officials has been stepped up following intelligence alerts citing danger from the banned Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE), Director General of Police K.P. Jain said.
