Fla. police seek gunmen in block party shooting

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Authorities in Florida are looking for gunmen who killed one person and wounded eight others when they opened fire during a block party in honor of a slain teen.

Authorities in Jacksonville identified the person killed as 21-year-old Dominique Waters.

They say the eight people wounded are in stable condition at area hospitals. All were between 17 and 21.

The shooting happened Saturday night during a block party attended by 200 people to celebrate the life of a teenager killed nearby in February.

Police do not know the motive and authorities said Monday no arrests have been made.
