LONDON - British pop singer Lily Allen feels that she is ‘over-exposed’ and wants people to take her music seriously and not just pay attention to her antics.

Thesun.co.uk quoted Allen as saying: ‘I don’t need publicity. It’s difficult as you want people to appreciate you for your music. People get confused and think you’re a celebrity and that’s quite hard for me.’

She also confessed that she was a bit uncertain about celebrity culture. Allen was doing interviews to promote her new album ‘It’s Not Me, It’s You.’
